EMCCAN was given the opportunity by Derby Live to host our very own Caribbean Sessions. On Friday 9th October we filled the Derby Market Place with tables of six for the public to come and to be wowed by the simply stunning Caribbean Carnival costumes from around the East Midlands with this illuminated costume display, accompanied by steel pan Calypso and Soca music. We had artists from Northampton, Derby, Leicester and Nottingham all abiding by the government guidelines to entertain our audience which turned out to be a huge successful, despite the flashes of rain.
